DAR Chapter Meeting

The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to, among other things, promoting patriotism.

DAR members volunteer millions of service hours and donate more than a million dollars annually in their local communities including supporting active duty military personnel and assisting veteran patients.

Their objectives align very well with what we do here at Hero Dogs, and this is a great opportunity to show off what we do.  Potentially, we will come away with new volunteers and new donors.
