Have you ever thought about volunteering for Hero Dogs, but were unsure about what you would do? Worried about not knowing the right thing to say or how to answer questions? Then this is the course for you. We always need Event Volunteers and have volunteer opportunities for all days of the week as well as evenings and during the day. These opportunities usually require a single 3-6 hour commitment to attend an event. Event Volunteers help promote Hero Dogs through attendance at public outreach events. They answer questions, distribute  publicity materials, engage supporters, recruit volunteers, collect  donations, and assist with event set-up / tear-down as needed. If you are interested, this is the perfect training class for you.

Throughout the year our events are mostly evenings and weekends, however from October through December we need many people during the day, during the week for both federal and state government employee giving programs (CFC, MCC). For CFC specific questions please send an email to cfc@hero-dogs.org.
