Frederick Dog Days

Join Hero Dogs during Frederick's Dog Days of Summer. We will be in front of The Trail House, a popular outdoor store located near Carroll Creek.

Downtown Frederick goes to the dogs with "Dog Days of Summer," featuring a dog parade and costume contest, dog friendly stores, dog friendly dining, animal art & more. The festivities begin at 5pm with registration and conclude with a Yappy Hour doggie after-party. Also enjoy live entertainment, guest artists and extended shopping hours at 80+ downtown stores. A portion of Dog Days proceeds benefit the event's co-organizer, the Frederick County Humane Society.

If you would like to volunteer, we need several volunteers including at least two volunteers who are approved to handle dogs.
