Youth Open House at Hero Dogs Facility (Laytonsville, MD)

Our Youth Open House is an opportunity for children in grades K - 5 to learn more about Hero Dogs. The children and chaperones will have the chance to:

• Take a tour
• See service dog demonstrations
• Learn about service dog etiquette and laws
• Learn about dog care
• Participate in age-appropriate crafts and games
• Learn how your group can support Hero Dogs

Please note the following VERY IMPORTANT information:

• There must be one adult chaperone for every six (6) children aged 12 or under.
• If you will be chaperoning children other than your own, the parents of each of those children MUST fill out a permission slip prior to the event.
