This is a great event in honor of Veterans Day. There will be a lot of Veterans there and this year’s Keynote speaker will be Retired Commander Everett Alvarez Jr., (USN Ret.), who was the first American pilot to be shot down and held as a prisoner-of-war (POW) in North Vietnam. Commander Alvarez spent over eight years in captivity, making him the second longest-held POW in American history.
